Hi, I'm Teacher Scarlet! I hold a Master's degree in Music Performance, specializing in Classical Saxophone, from the renowned Eastman School of Music. With a passion for music that knows no bounds, I have had the privilege of working as an International School Music Teacher in Malaysia.

For me, music is a powerful force that brings vibrant colors to our world. Whenever I perform or teach music, I embrace the role of a storyteller, taking my audience and students on an extraordinary journey. It's an indescribable feeling to unveil the beauty of the world through melodies and rhythms. I believe that learning is a process of growth, and I find immense joy in witnessing my students flourish, have fun, and even make mistakes in their lessons. After all, making mistakes is how we learn!

Growing up in a multicultural country, I have been exposed to various languages. My ability to communicate in different tongues has amazed my friends. Sharing is caring, and caring is love. I am passionate about sharing my musical knowledge and life experiences with others. As a teacher, my ultimate goal is to nurture children and guide them towards becoming the best versions of themselves. Each student possesses a unique learning style, and I relish the challenge of exploring their individuality. Surprisingly, I often find that I learn the most when I am teaching.

Education is a lifelong journey, and establishing a solid foundation in the early years is crucial. It is during this time that children should be encouraged to wander, explore, and embark on adventures through play. I firmly believe that happiness, laughter, and those "Yayy, I'm feeling great today!" moments are the building blocks for a bright future.

In my lessons, I encourage both students and myself to be both the teacher and the student. Together, we can momentarily set aside the stresses and commitments of adulthood and fully express ourselves through dance, song, and creativity. I firmly believe that children should be allowed to be their authentic selves and explore the world with open hearts.

Every class I teach serves as a booster of love and passion for me. It continually motivates me to grow as a person, teacher, and lifelong learner. The joy and fulfillment I derive from sharing knowledge and witnessing the growth of my students are immeasurable.
