Casita Health and Wellbeing Measures
Casita is a safe space for families everywhere.
As we aim to provide a pleasant environment and experience for our guests, we also need to ensure that everyone’s health and safety are of utmost priority.
We seek your understanding as we implement below, a summary of the key changes that have come into effect, and some other important information that we want to share.
Safety Precautions
All families are required to fill in a Health Declaration Form before their visit.
Visitors must remove their shoes, and leave them outside the shoe cabinets provided. Adults are required to wear socks, while children can either wear socks or be barefoot.
Visitors must scan in their LeaveHomeSafe app. Please note that we will strictly reinforce the government’s vaccine pass policy for everyone entering Casita. Casita reserves the right to deny entry to anyone who does not meet the requirements of the vaccine policy for grown-ups.
Visitors are required to sanitize and wash their hands before entering.
A temperature check is required in the reception for all visitors. Children or adults who show any of the symptoms below will be sent home:
A temperature over 37.5 degrees C
Cough and/or severe congestion
Sore throat, headache
Unexplained rash
Vomiting and diarrhea in the last 48 hours
Complaints of a stiff neck, sore throat, headache.
Head lice or nits
An infectious/contagious condition
A child who is on medication in less than 48 hours
If your child experiences symptoms of Covid-19, he/she should immediately take a PCR test and remain at home until the result is known.
Inside the Premises
Casita reserves the right to manage the number of adults and children within the premises based on government restrictions.
Wundertime is not available for public access until government restrictions are further eased.
Casita will continue to practice social distancing inside the classrooms to reduce risk and protect everyone.
In consideration of the age and developmental stages of the children, we’ve implemented a “Pod” guideline for mask-wearing:
Children 2 years and below are strongly urged to wear a mask or hat shield with grown-up supervision (Internal: While we know it may be difficult for some babies, it would be good practice for the accompanying adults to show efforts are being made in encouraging babies to wear their mask or hat shields.)
All staff and visitors above the age of 2 are required to wear masks at all times.
Cleanliness, Hygiene and Disinfection
Casita adheres to the current guidelines and protocols set forth by the government.
We clean our classrooms, toys and instruments after each class.
Casita uses non-toxic, child-safe cleaning products to clean all floor surfaces and toys.
We hired cleaners to professionally sanitize all furniture and furnishings before the start and end of each day.
Air-purifiers are placed in each room and communal areas
Hand sanitizers and hand washing stations are available for use inside the premises.
The toys and classrooms are sanitized daily. We also encourage grown-ups to let us know if a toy needs cleaning by putting it in the ‘Wash Me’ bin located in the Casita. Any toys that were put in the mouth by the child, sneezed, or drooled on goes in this box to be cleaned and sanitized. Teachers follow a detailed checklist and sign off upon cleaning.
